Seven Australian umpires appointed to World Rowing Events

Rowing Australia was today (5 March) delighted to announce that seven Australian umpires have been appointed to World Rowing events for the 2015 season.

Australia will be represented at World Rowing Cups 1, 2 and 3, as well as the Junior, Under 23 and Senior World Rowing Championships and also at the 2015 World University Games.

The umpires appointed for International Jury duty are as follows (their home state is in brackets after their name):
Craig James (WA) – World Rowing Cup 1, Bled, Slovenia (8-10 May 2015)
Andrew Guerin (VIC) – World Rowing Cup 2, Varese, Italy (19-21 June 2015)
Bill Webster (VIC) – 2015 World University Games, Chungju, South Korea (3-14 July 2015)
Phil Fraser (TAS) – 2015 World Rowing Cup 3, Lucerne, Switzerland (10-12 July 2015)*
Rene Klupacs (VIC) – 2015 World Rowing Under 23 Championships, Plovdiv, Bulgaria (22-26 July 2015)*
Greg Smith (NSW) – 2015 World Rowing Junior Championships, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (5-9 August 2015)
John Murdoch (WA) – 2015 World Rowing Championships, Aiguebelette, France (30 August to 6 September 2015)

*Please note umpires with a star next to their name have been named as spares for the International Umpire Jury of their respective event
