Mark Prater appointed coach of the Men’s Pair

Rowing Australia today announced that Mark Prater will be the coach of the 2015 Senior A Men’s Pair of Nick Wheatley and Jack Hargreaves. Prater normally coaches out of Syndey University Boat Club, however for this role he and the crew will be based in Canberra at the National Training Centre. In 2014, Prater coached Hargreaves and Wheatley to a silver medal at the U23 World Rowing Championships while later in the year he coached Perry Ward in the Lightweight Men’s Single, while also being in charge of the Men’s Coxed Pair at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.
