AMRC_2014_silverblue

The 2015 Australian Masters Rowing Championships (AMRC) is set to be held from 28 to 31 May 2015 at the Sydney International Regatta Centre! As well the high-class racing, the AMRC is a great opportunity to socialise with friends, old and new, from across the country, and even across the globe!

If you’re looking for more information about the event and how to place your entry, please visit www.rowingnsw.asn.au/amrc for more details.

Below is some useful information for those interested in attending the event.

Orphan Rowers

Want to compete but can’t put a crew together? Or are you looking for one person to fill a seat in your boat? Hosts Rowing NSW are offering a comprehensive ‘Orphan Rower Notice Board’ to help you organise your crew list. Click here for more information.

Club Events

To emphasise the importance of club rowing, each ever will offer a ‘Single Club Champions’ medla, going to the highest ranked crew made up from an individual club.

The 2015 AMRC will also see the inclusion of men’s and women’s ‘Single Club Eight’ events. Clubs may enter crews of any age category, and handicap will be applied according to the Rowing Australia Masters Handicaps.

Jazz Under the Stars

The biggest social event in the Australian Masters Rowing calendar is coming! Keep the evening of Saturday 30 May free for the Jazz Under the Stars dinner, with entertainment being provided by the Bob Gillespie Trio, featuring Carol Ralph.
