Rowing Australia congratulates Sydney Rowing Club who were today confirmed as the Champion Club of the 2016 Sydney International Rowing Regatta.

The Australian Rowing Championships Champion Club Points Table is tallied up at the conclusion of the event, with the club that claims the most points being named the Champion Club. Points are awarded on the following basis, with points being divided up for composite crews:

Sydney RC performed strongly throughout the 2016 Sydney International Rowing Regatta to claim the title, improving on their third place finish in 2015.
The top three clubs in 2016 were Sydney RC from New South Wales, Mercantile RC from Victoria and Toowong RC from Queensland.
