Race times for World Rowing Cup 2

The Australian Rowing Team will compete at the 2016 World Rowing Cup 2 beginning today (Friday 27 May) in Lucerne, Switzerland. Australia has eight crews entered, including Sarah Pound in the Lightweight Women’s Single Sculls. Pound was the reserve for the Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls at the recent Final Olympic Qualification Regatta.

Rhys Grant of the Men’s Single Sculls rested after qualifying the boat for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games earlier in the week.

Racing can be followed live of World Rowing’s website, where they will have commentary and their live tracker app. All the Olympic class boat finals will also be streamed live on their website and on Fox Sports Australia (check your local guide for times).

Rowing Australia will of course be updating its social media channel and website with news and photos from the regatta. One change to the crews competing, Alex Hill is unable to race this weekend in the Men’s Four and will be replaced with Josh Hicks for this regatta.

Rowing Australia will update its website with results and details of any repechages in due course.
