Rowing Australia is delighted to announce that the two University of Queensland Graduate Certificates in Sports Coaching Scholarships for 2020 have been awarded to Kylie Duff, from Clarence Valley NSW, and Agustin Radero, originally from Argentina but now working in Brisbane, Queensland.
Kylie has been involved in rowing since she was a young girl, learning to row in rural NSW. Kylie has been involved in the Lower Clarence Rowing Club both as an athlete and a coach. Her passion for rowing is what drives her as a coach, she loves to encourage her team to reach their full potential. Kylie wants to help the rural athletes have every opportunity they can to reach their full potential. Kylie is a shining example of what it means to be a part of the rowing community.
Agustin, growing up in Argentina, was both a coach and an athlete at Club Mendoza of Regatas as well as the Junior Argentinian rowing team. Moving to Brisbane a few years ago he is now the coach of the UQBC female team as well as the Queensland Female Youth VIII. Agustin is currently a permanent resident of Australia and will be applying for Australian citizenship later this year. Agustin has demonstrated a great passion for rowing and a drive to be the best coach he can be.
