Anneka is from Tasmania and competes for the Lindisfarne Rowing Club.  Her first coach was her farther, Mick Reardon.  She started training at the Hancock Prospecting Women's National Training Centre, following her selection into the women's squad. She has been training at the centre since April 2022. At the 2022 National Rowing Championships held in Nagambie Lakes, Victoria, Reardon won two Gold medals: Lightweight Women’s Single Scull and Lightweight Women’s Double Scull, and a Silver medal in the Victoria Cup (Interstate Women’s Lightweight Quadruple Sculls) representing Tasmania. For the 2022 international season, Reardon and Lucy Coleman were selected as the A.R.T. Women’s Lightweight Double-Scull representatives.  At the 2022 World Cup 2 regatta held in Poznan, Poland – Coleman and Reardon qualified for the A-Final and won a Silver Medal. At the 2022 World Championships held in held in Račice, Czech Republic, Reardon and Coleman qualified for the B Final and finished with an overall world ranking of tenth.   Off the water, Anneka is employed as a registered Nurse in the Emergency department of the Canberra Hospital.  She completed her Nursing degree at the University of Tasmania.
