Patrick Holt, AKA Paddy, is from Queensland and is a current member of the Reinhold Batschi Men's National Training Centre.   During his teenage years, Holt was a very talented Cricket player until he experienced a major injury that kept him out of the sport for one whole season.  He then tried Rowing and straight away fell in love with the sport.
In 2018, he was part of the Under 21 Australian Trans-Tasman team that competed against New Zealand.  He is also currently studying a double degree in Mechatronic Engineering and Business at UTS (University of Technology Sydney).
For the 2022 international season, Holt was selected in the A.R.T. (Australian Rowing Team) Men’s sweep squad.  During the two 2022 World Cup regattas held in Poznan and Lucerne respectively, Holt was part of both Men’s Eight crews that won a Silver-medal.   At the 2022 World Rowing Championships, September held in Račice, Czech Republic , Holt was an ART sweep reserve.
