By Nick Jones at Lake Barrington International Rowing Course
The regatta shifts gears from small boat finals to the thunderous arrival of the big boats as we head into Day Six of the 2025 Australian Rowing Championships.
With champions already crowned in the Singles, Doubles and Pairs, it’s now time for the Eights and Quads to take centre stage, bringing raw power, precision and plenty of club pride to the lake.
With Australian Rowing Team selections still to be decided, many of the country’s elite athletes will be suiting up for their clubs this weekend, making the Open Eights among the most hotly anticipated events of the regatta. Expect blistering pace from start to finish.
From Rowsellas to National Training Centre regulars, the crews are stacked with high-calibre names, bringing international experience and fierce rivalries to the ARC25 lanes.
Keep an eye out for the following former and current Rowsellas and NTC athletes on Saturday. For the full fields, head to: https://rowingmanager.com/regattas/6539/entries
