Day Three of the Australian Rowing Championships (ARC26) is looking to be an exciting day with small boat semi-finals across each age division as well as the first of the big boat races for the week.

Open racing will commence tomorrow at 9:50am AEDT with the Women’s Single Scull, followed by the men at 10:00am. Among these competitors will be ARC25’s Interstate Single Champion and Rowsella Tara Rigney OLY (Mosman) who placed first overall in today’s heats, and Rowsella Paige Barr (Mercantile / HPNTC) who was not far behind.

The Men’s semi-final will feature Marcus Della Marta (SUBC / RBNTC) who will be chasing todays fastest single sculler, Cormac Kennedy-Leverett (Sydney).

Under 17 Men’s and Women’s Coxed Quad Scull will be making their debut race from 1:30pm, a first for this year’s Australian Rowing Championships. This has been successfully integrated into this year’s program, with entries stretching out over three heats each.

Key races to watch on Wednesday include:

  • Semi-finals for all small boats throughout the morning session.

  • Coxed Eights beginning their racing from 2:25pm AEDT.
