The last major regatta of the Australian domestic season is the Australian Rowing Championships, set to be held on Lake Barrington from the 23rd to the 29th of March, 2026. For many young athletes, this event is the pinnacle of the season, where they can show off the work they have done over the year alongside Olympians and Australian team representatives. One such event is the U21 men’s eight, which is set to be fantastic. With 11 entries, athletes will be required to finish top two in a heat or top four in a repechage to earn one of eight berths in the A-final. As with previous years, some of Australia’s top young talent will be on display in this event, and competition will be fierce.
