The Australian Rowing Championships provides the final opportunity for schoolgirl eights from across the country to compete for glory, in what will be a tightly fought battle for the Sydney Cup. This year, the event welcomes a record 23 entries. Historically, this event has been dominated by Victorian and New South Wales crews, from which several top contenders have emerged: Pymble Ladies’ College, Kinross Wolaroi, Melbourne Girls’ Grammar and Loreto Toorak.
