Ellen Randell is one of RA's women's coaches based at the Hancock Prospecting Women's National Training Centre. Randell is considered Australia’s top female rowing coach. She began coaching in the late 1980s and served her coaching apprenticeship under the guidance of former AIS Head Rowing Coach, Reinhold Batschi. An experienced coach, having specialised in coaching women over the last three decades, Randell has had success in open and lightweight women’s rowing (sweep and sculling) and has coached three Australian women’s crews to World Rowing Championships titles, as well as multiple medals.
