Mark Prater is a Senior Coach at the Reinhold Batschi National Training Centre. Having previously coached out of Syndey University Boat Club and in 2014 and 2015 coached the Men's Pair to a silver medal at back to back U23 World Rowing Championships. In 2014, Prater coached Perry Ward in the Lightweight Men's Single, while also being in charge of the Men's Coxed Pair at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam. In 2016, Prater coached Alex Lloyd and Spencer Turrin in the Men's Pair at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
