National Rowing Coaching Accreditation Scheme
Rowing Australia (RA) has four coaching levels – Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Level 1 and Level 2 are online courses; with the Level 2 course also containing a workshop component. The Level 3 course is held in Canberra every two years. Rowing Australia also offers a Riggers course for those wanting to teach indoor rowing on rowing ergometers. Accreditation lasts for four years, after which time coaches will need to reaccredit. Further information on each topic can be found by clicking on the relevant button below.
Please click here for a list of all accredited rowing coaches as at 8/7/21, along with their identification number and expiry date.

Prerequisites: The prerequisites for each coaching level are below. These have been set to ensure that the most appropriate and informative rowing specific program is delivered. Please note you must be a currently accredited coach (i.e. not expired) before you can accredit at a higher level.
