The 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships (#AMRC26) will return to the west, with Champion Lakes Regatta Centre in Perth, Western Australia, set to host the four-day event from May 27-30.

The AMRC is one of the largest and most inclusive national rowing events on the calendar and returns to the venue for the first time since 2019. It will welcome competitors aged 27 and over from across the country and overseas.

Hosted by Rowing WA, the regatta will bring together seasoned athletes, clubs, and communities in a celebration of lifelong participation in the sport.

Rowing WA CEO Daniel Tackenberg said the event would shine a spotlight on Western Australia’s premier rowing venue and its passionate community.

“Rowing WA can’t wait to welcome the masters rowing community back to Champion Lakes,” Tackenberg said.

“Western Australia has a proud tradition of hosting national regattas, and we’re excited to showcase not only our world-class facility but also the hospitality and vibrancy of Perth.”

Rowing Australia CEO Sarah Cook OLY praised the event and its hosts.

“We thank Rowing WA for leading the delivery of this event and are grateful for the support of Tourism WA in helping bring this experience to the west,” Cook said.

Tourism WA will be the major supporter of the 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships.
