Rowing Australia (RA) and Bont Rowing are extending their winning partnership, through the provision of high-performance rowing shoes and dynamic products that have been a key contributor to the success of the Rowsellas, the Australian Rowing Team.

This extended partnership will see Bont supply the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) National Training Centre (NTC) and the AIS European Training Centre (ETC) with state-of-the-art RP3 rowing machines.

The RP3 Model T remains the world's only true dynamic rowing ergometer with included static mode that provides the closest on-water experience available.

Featuring a 22kg flywheel for industry-leading progressive resistance designed to closely mimic the combination of oar, boat and rigger, the RP3 Model T sets a new standard for dynamic indoor rowing machines.

Combining advanced data analysis to take training to the next step, the RP3 promotes improved posture thanks to its live feedback design and is backed by precision construction and components for years of dedicated and reliable service.

Istvan Nemeth, Director of Bont, shared his enthusiasm for the extended partnership, saying the company was committed to supporting excellence of rowing in Australia.

“We are delighted to deepen our partnership with Rowing Australia through this increased sponsorship. At Bont Rowing, we are passionate about supporting athletes in their pursuit of excellence.” Mr Nemeth said.

“This enhanced collaboration reflects our dedication to the sport and our belief in the incredible potential of Australian rowers. We look forward to seeing the continued growth and success of Rowing Australia as we work together to elevate the sport to new heights."

Rowing Australia CEO Sarah Cook said the integration of the RP3 machines into the training centres is a major milestone.

“These machines offer precision and insight that will enhance our training protocols and help our athletes excel on the world stage,” Ms Cook said.

“We are excited about the positive impact this will have on our team's performance and are grateful to Bont Rowing for their ongoing support of the Rowsellas and Rowing Australia."

RA looks forward to a continued successful partnership with Bont, driving innovation and excellence in rowing training and performance.
