Rowing Australia Statement on the Independent Technical Assessment of the Rockhampton Flatwater Course 

Rowing Australia acknowledges the completion of the independent technical assessment of the field of play for the Rockhampton flatwater course, which has been endorsed by World Rowing.

This assessment forms part of the full Project Validation Report process undertaken by the Games Independent Infrastructure Coordination Authority, WaterProof Marine Consultancy and Services B.V. (WaterProof). Rowing Australia looks forward to the completion of this full report.

Rowing Australia and Rowing Queensland have not been involved in the independent technical assessment process. We will continue to support key stakeholders involved in the venue planning process for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
