For the 2022 international season, Holt was selected in the A.R.T. (Australian Rowing Team) Men’s sweep squad. During the two 2022 World Cup regattas held in Poznan and Lucerne respectively, Holt was part of both Men’s Eight crews that won a Silver-medal.
At the 2022 World Rowing Championships, September held in Račice, Czech Republic , Holt was an ART sweep reserve.
Patrick was once again selected to represent Australia in 2023 on the international stage in the men's eight division taking his mantle in the bow seat. This included starts in the World Rowing Championships in Serbia and the World Cup rounds in Italy and Switzerland.
He would go on to earn medals in all three international regattas, with a bronze in the World Rowing Championship. He also scored a silver and gold in the Italian and Swiss World Cup rounds respectively. For a third year in succession, Patrick was called up to represent his home state of Queensland in the King's Cup, assisting his state to third place for the second time in his rowing career.
In the lead-up to the 2024 Olympic Games, Patrick shifted away from the men's eight and moved his focus back towards the men's pair like in his early days. In the second round of the 2024 World Rowing Cup in Switzerland, Patrick teamed up with Tokyo rowing Olympian, Simon Keenan. The pair finished fourth in their heat and missed the start of their repechage round.
