Bronwyn Cox

Western Australian, Bronwyn Cox, has won multiple national titles and in 2017 she won a silver medal, alongside Annabelle McIntyre in the U23 Women's Pair at the World Rowing U23 Championships in Bulgaria. The following year, Cox raced with Giorgia Patten in the same boat class just missing out on a medal. In late 2018 she joined the Hancock Prospecting Women's NTC and was named in the women's sweep squad for the World Rowing Cups in 2019. She competed in the Women's Eight at the two World Rowing Cups and then at the 2019 World Rowing Championships.

Cox was selected to row in the Women’s Eight for the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.  The crew made the A-final and finished in 5th place.

In the 2022 season, Bronwyn Cox was selected into the Women's Coxless Four for World Cup 2, Poznan with fellow Olympian, Kat Werry, as well as Olympic Champions Lucy Stephan OAM and Annabelle McIntyre OAM, where they won Gold.

At the World Cup III regatta in Lucerne (July 2022), Browyn raced in the Women’s Eight that won a historical Gold Medal.

At the 2022 World Championships held in in Račice, Czech Republic, Cox teamed up with Werry, Stephan and McIntyre in the Women’s Coxless Four to win a Bronze Medal.   

In 2023 Bronwyn rowed for the women's eight, finishing with a gold medal at the World Rowing Cup II and bronze at both the World Rowing Cup III and the World Rowing Championships - the latter tournament securing the boat’s qualification for the Paris Olympics. 

She competed at the World Rowing Cup II as part of her preparation for Paris 2024, finishing fourth.
