Dave Bartholot

David Bartholot took up rowing in 2016 having previously rowed surf boats in New South Wales. The Sydney University Boat Club rower won the NSW Novice of the Year award in 2016 and in 2018 made his way into the Reinhold Batschi Men's National Training Centre. An athlete who has raced in the Australian Boat Race, in 2019 Bartholot has been named as the men's sculling reserve for World Rowing Cups 2 and 3. At the 2019 World Rowing Championships, Bartholot partnered with Caleb Antill to race the Men's Double Scull.
For the 2022 international season, Bartholot was selected as the A.R.T. Men’s Sculling reserve. At the 2022 World Cup II regatta held in Poznan, Poland, Bartholot won the B-Final (7th Place Ranking). He then combined with Tokyo Olympian, Caleb Antill, in the Men’s Double Scull to win a Silver-Medal at the July 2022 World Cup III regatta held in Lucerne, Switzerland.
At the 2022 World Championships held in Račice, Czech Republic, Bartholot and Antill remained as the ART Men’s Double Scull combination that qualified for the A Final, and won a Bronze Medal.
