 There is no denying that the Australian Rowing Championships are the culmination of a season’s hard work, an opportunity to prove all those hours were not wasted and that you are the real deal. The Australian Rowing Championships prove even more significant for U23 athletes as those who place in the top ten in the single scull will receive an invitation to the national selection regatta in a month’s time. This always guarantees exciting racing as athletes will be punching it to the line in hopes of scraping into the A-Final or to try and get top two in the B-final. Now, onto the athletes.
