Bryan Weir

Bryan has been involved in rowing all of his life, competing in all grades since school and representing Australia at the World Championships in 1974.  At various times he has been president of Mosman Rowing Club, a director of Rowing New South Wales and a director of Rowing Australia.  He is currently the Ombudsman for both the Australian Rowing Team and the Australian Coastal Rowing Team.  For the past 25 years, he has been an active participant in masters rowing.

During his business career, Bryan has been a partner of Freehill Hollingdale & Page, a Divisional Director of Macquarie Bank and a director and chairman of two ASX listed companies.  He was a director of LJ Hooker for 8 years until retiring in December 2022 and is currently chairman of Evolve FM, an indigenous-owned facilities management company.
