Eleanor Price

Eleanor “Nory” Price is a stroke-side sweep rower from Melbourne, Victoria. A two-time National Training Centre (NTC) scholar and proud Sydney University Boat Club athlete, Eleanor brings endurance, tenacity, and sharp focus to every stroke she delivers.

Originally a standout junior distance runner, Eleanor represented Victoria in cross country and won multiple state titles, Eleanor was also an impressive track athlete in the 400m, 800m, and 1500m during her time at Ruyton Girls’ School in Kew. While her early success came on the track, it was the camaraderie and challenge of rowing that ultimately drew her in, offering the perfect team environment to channel her athleticism.

Since joining the international ranks, Eleanor has represented Australia at the U21 and U23 levels, and competed at senior World Cups and World Championships. In 2022, she was a key member of the Women’s Eight that placed 5th at the World Championships and won Gold at World Rowing Cup III in Lucerne. Most recently, in 2024, she raced in both the Four and the Eight at World Cup I.

Now in her second year at the NTC, Eleanor is studying Data Science at the University of Sydney and remains focused on continual improvement. Her 2025 goal is simple yet powerful: fast catch, strong leg drive, and getting the boat to the finish line as fast as possible.

With her beach-loving spirit, love of reading, and passion for cycling, Eleanor balances intensity on the water with calm and curiosity off it, proving that high performance and grounded perspective go hand in hand.

Eleanor is currently a member of the Australian Women's Four #2.
