Julia Bell OLY

Julia Bell OLY brings a wealth of experience in governance capability and strategic leadership alongside her deep connection to rowing as a former member of the Rowing Australia Team.

 

A dual Olympian at Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004, Julia was a dual World Champion in the Women's Four and Eight in 2001 and represented Australia from 1999 to 2004. Julia understands first-hand athlete pathways, high-performance systems and the structure of member organisations.

 

Julia is Deputy Chair of the Australian Olympians Association (AOA) and has played an active role in representing and connecting Olympians across Oceania, having served as the Oceania Representative on the World Olympians Association (WOA) Executive Committee. With more than 20 years’ experience in strategy, risk and organisational performance, she will bring strong governance and commercial judgement to her position on the Board.
