Michael Eastaughffe

Michael Eastaughffe has had a distinguished career in rowing, primarily based in South Australia before moving to Victoria in 2015.
His journey began in 1963 at Christian Brothers College in Adelaide and continued with Torrens Rowing Club from 1968 to 1973. After retiring from competitive rowing, Michael dedicated himself to various administrative roles, serving as Treasurer, Secretary, Club Captain, and President of Torrens Rowing Club.
He represented the club at Rowing SA General Committee Meetings and joined the Rowing SA Executive Board in 1990, holding positions including Secretary and Chairman.
As the South Australian Delegate on the Rowing Australia Council from 1991, he contributed significantly to the sport's governance.
Michael's extensive experience includes roles as Team Manager for South Australia and the Australian Under 23 Team, and he served as Assistant Manager and Team Manager for the Australian Senior A Team.
He played a crucial part in organising Australian Rowing Championships and has been involved in regatta management and umpiring at various levels. His dedication to rowing has been recognized with life memberships at Torrens Rowing Club, Rowing SA, and Rowing Australia.
Now contributing to Rowing Victoria, Michael continues to bring his wealth of experience and passion for the sport, fostering strong relationships and striving for excellence in all his endeavours.
