Athlete and Team Staff Induction
This athlete/coach/team manager induction has been designed to ensure all participants at the Australian Rowing Championships have an understanding of the rules and policies relating to the regatta. It is designed to complement the on-site briefings which will still be held on Sunday and Wednesday.
- All competitors, coaches and team staff must complete the online induction before the collection of accreditation passes.
- Accreditation will not be distributed until all athletes/coaches have completed this.
Read the 2025 Induction and Event Waiver. The link to sign these online will be emailed.

To book a tent site at the 2026 Australian Rowing Championships, click on the link below.
Please note the following when booking at tent site:
- Area A is the level above the Reeconians Centre (previously known as area B)
- Area B is to the north of the boat park (previously known as area C)
- Tents must be pegged or weighted
- Priority will be given to built tents booked by the RA contractor.
- Tents deemed to not be appropriately secured will be taken down by event staff.
- Tents should be lowered and secured each evening.
- RA reserves the right to dismantle your tent or secure it to prevent damage during high winds or inclement weather.
- BBQs are not permitted
- The sale of food, drink or raffle tickets is not permitted from tent sites
- Vehicle access to tent sites will only be permitted after 9 am on Sunday 22 March and no later than 6.30 pm.
- Vehicle access will only be permitted by arrangement with boat park managers and only before 7 am on any day during the event.
– Clubs with tent sites are not permitted generators and are not permitted to plug into event generators or venue power.

OPENING CEREMONY
Winning state and territories return their King’s and Queen’s Cup Regatta trophies as championships gets underway. Stick around for a quick Q&A diving into each state and territories preparations for the 2026 King’s and Queen’s Cups Regatta. This event will happen around the lunch break on Monday in the Spectator zone.
LEARN AND LOAD
Register for the Learn & (carbo) Load session on Wednesday 25 March from 5:30pm – 7pm where you can learn from Australia’s top performance athletes while you load with a pasta dinner!
This will be a great opportunity for all athletes involved with rowing to hear first-hand how they can excel in their rowing career – and maybe one day become a Rowsella! This is a unique opportunity to ask our top performance athletes any questions you may have.
WOMEN IN SPORT BREAKFAST
We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Women in Sport Breakfast at the 2026 Australian Rowing Championships! This special event on Friday 27 March at 10:00 am will celebrate the remarkable achievements of women in rowing and provide a platform for inspiring discussions about empowering and supporting female athletes in our sport.
ROW NATION ERG RELAY AT THE ARC - RACE WITH A ROWSELLA
Racing at the ARC? Here's your chance to compete with a Rowsella and take on the Row Nation challenge on the big screen.
Complete your registration to enter the event, with further details shared to successful entrants. Be quick, limited sports available!
Teams will be made up of 4 rowers.
HENLEY INFO SESSION
You are warmly invited to attend an afternoon tea and information session on Henley Royal Regatta, hosted during the Australian Rowing Championships by Australian-based Stewards Sarah Cook and John Boultbee.
This session is designed for clubs and schools considering competing at Henley Royal Regatta in 2026 or in future years. The Stewards will provide practical guidance on the entry process, qualification pathways, key timelines, and what to expect when racing at the Regatta
We look forward to welcoming crews, coaches, administrators, clubs, and schools interested in learning more about competing at one of the world’s most iconic regattas.
THE INAUGURAL ARC SOCIAL
Kick back and enjoy a relaxed Friday night at the iconic The Bridge Hotel in Forth, an infamous social venue and one of the north west coast’s great live music pubs.
The bar will be open from 6:00pm until late, with live music from 8:00–10:00pm and food available throughout the evening. Just 8 minutes from central Devonport and 24 minutes from Sheffield, it’s an easy trip for all.
This is a casual Tassie Welcome hosted by the Pub for the rowing community; a chance for parents, families, friends and over-18 competitors to come together, meet new people, and celebrate the ARC week in great company.
