The green light has been given for the Men’s Quad Scull and Lightweight Women’s Double Scull to compete at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, Switzerland later in May. Oscar McGuinness will join these crews as a Men’s Scull reserve.
Rowing Australia’s High Performance Committee has approved the boats to be entered into World Rowing Cup II for a final chance to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games, which begin in late July.
The two crews and McGuinness will join the rest of the Australian Rowing Team (ART) at the AIS European Training Centre to start preparations for the regatta.
