Megan Marcks (née Still) OAM (right) is a celebrated Australian rower who has made significant contributions to the sport through her achievements on the national and international stage. Beginning her rowing career through a Talent Identification Program in 1988, Megan quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing her skill and dedication.

Megan's rowing career is marked by her historic achievements with her rowing partner Kate Slatter. In 1995, Megan and Kate went undefeated in national and international competitions, culminating in winning the World Championship in Finland. This victory made them the first Australian oarswomen to win a world title in an Olympic rowing event.

Their success continued at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, where they won gold in the Women's Coxless Pair. This victory was particularly significant as Megan and Kate became the first Australian female crew to win an Olympic gold medal in rowing.

Following her Olympic triumph, Megan retired from competitive rowing and has since become a highly sought-after corporate speaker. Her experience and insights into achieving peak performance and overcoming challenges make her a respected figure in the corporate speaking circuit.
