Sharp EIT Solutions Becomes Official Technology Partner of Rowing Australia

Rowing Australia is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Sharp EIT Solutions (Sharp EIT), as they become the Official Technology Partner of Rowing Australia and the Australian Rowing Team.

This collaboration signifies a significant step forward in the integration of advanced information technology within the realm of athletic performance.

Sharp EIT are business IT solutions specialists and renowned for supporting sporting organisations across Australia, which aligns perfectly with Rowing Australia’s commitment to excellence and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

This partnership underscores the shared vision of both organisations to leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance performance, security, and operational efficiency.

A critical factor for Rowing Australia in selecting an IT provider was the protection of their data and a strong focus on cyber security.

Sharp EIT Solutions has delivered a robust cyber security framework, including Endpoint Detection and Response and a Security Operations Centre, ensuring the highest level of protection for Rowing Australia's sensitive information.

“Sharp EIT is thrilled to come on board and support RA. We are deeply committed to nurturing and supporting the communities and organisations that unite us,” Sharp EIT Solutions managing director Mario Bernatovic said.

“Our enthusiasm for community and sports is fundamental to who we are. We are honoured to support your organisation both operationally and as an official sponsor.

“This partnership is a testament to Rowing Australia’s dedication to excellence, innovation, and ensuring that the athletes and staff have access to the best possible resources and support.”

Rowing Australia Chief Executive Officer Sarah Cook OLY said cyber security was paramount to National Sporting Organisations and Sharp EIT would be an exceptional technology partner.

“Collaboration is a significant step forward in enhancing our IT infrastructure and cyber security capabilities. Sharp EIT's experience with other leading sports organisations reassures us of their ability to understand and meet our specific needs in sport,” Cook said.

“We are confident that this partnership will provide a seamless transition and elevate the level of service and security for our staff, athletes, and community.”
