Since her first row in Orange, NSW, Isabella's dedication has only intensified, driving her toward her ultimate goal of representing Australia at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

"This bursary not only supports my current endeavours but reinforces my future aspirations in rowing and beyond," Scammell said.

Austin (second in from the left), from Ballarat and representing Mercantile, echoed this sentiment. A rising star in the U23 Men's Four, Austin aims to mirror the path of Australia's rowing legends.

"The Flavia Gobbo Bursary is more than financial aid; it's about the honour and responsibility of carrying forward the legacy of Australian rowing," Austin said.

Both athletes have shown great commitment and potential, aligning perfectly with the bursary’s objective to support athletes who balance the rigorous demands of training, education, and competition.

The bursary aims to cultivate the champions of tomorrow, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed on the international stage.
